As the Systems Engineering Manager, you're in charge of a team of Linux and Windows masters.
Your email ninja group works in stealth to fight inefficiencies in our systems. Through
careful research and cunning plans, you will determine areas that need improvement, and you
will proactively seek solutions; these solutions may be deployed off the shelf, or they may
be custom-created by our software development team. When it comes to our Linux and Exchange
systems, the buck stops at your door. A sign of a job well done is that the customers never
even know you're there because you catch the problems before they happen.
You're a proven leader who's focused on hiring, coaching, and developing a solid team.
You're ready to solve problems and keep your team fighting enthusiastically in good times
and bad. Your crew will work closely with other teams throughout the company, including
being the escalation point for the front-line customer support team, and communicating
frequently with engineering and development teams to help them improve the operational
efficiency of the systems you manage.
