Patrick Matthews, President

Pat spends much of his time setting the strategic direction for Mailtrust, as the company further establishes its leadership position in the business email hosting industry. He also works closely with company leaders to develop the company culture, constantly striving to build a better place to work. Pat co-founded Mailtrust with Bill Boebel in 1999 and spearheaded the merger with Rackspace in 2007.

Additionally, Pat serves on the executive team and board of directors of the NewVa Corridor Technology Council and was named one of the top 20 business executives under the age of 40 in all of Southwest Virginia by the Blue Ridge Business Journal. Pat is a graduate of the Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business.

Bill Boebel, Chief Technology Officer

Bill leads an organization of passionate software developers and engineers who build scalable and robust distributed systems that deliver the company's products. His concentration is on advancing Mailtrust's email hosting architecture through constant research and innovation.

Bill holds a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering from Virginia Tech. Bill was the founding CEO of Mailtrust and was hands-on in virtually all areas of the business in the early years, filling roles from product development and tech support, to billing and SEO/PPC marketing. He moved into his role as CTO in 2002 and today he continues to share responsibility for the Mailtrust strategic direction with Pat Matthews and Kevin Minnick.

Bill has spoken at several technology forums, including ISPCON and NCTC IT Pros Forum, and he actively blogs about his technology interests.

Kevin Minnick, Senior Vice President, Software Development

Kevin is instrumental in driving software development initiatives at Mailtrust. Kevin has been with the company since its inception in 1999. Kevin ensures that the technologies that the development team uses are scalable, fast, and dependable. He is involved with the research of future product offerings and the technology and platforms used, and with defining Mailtrust's software development lifecycle. Kevin oversees the communication between the customer service and product development staff and is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and guiding the career paths of the software developers.

Kevin holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Virginia Tech.

Ben Hubbard, Senior Director of Product Support, Noteworthy

Ben is responsible for all components of Noteworthy customer care, including technical support, account management, and billing. He helps guide the strategic planning for the customer care organization and the overall satisfaction of our customer base. Ben works closely with each division of the company to ensure that our customers are receiving the highest level of service and support possible.

Ben joined the Mailtrust team in the summer of 2002 as a customer care representative and has filled a variety of roles throughout the early growth stages of the company.

Nick Daines, Senior Director of Customer Care, Exchange

Nick is responsible for all aspects of customer care for Hosted Microsoft Exchange at Mailtrust—including technical support, account management, and billing. He helps guide the strategic planning for the customer care organization and is responsible for personnel growth, professional development of employees, and the overall satisfaction of our customer base. Nick works closely with each division of the company to ensure that our customers are receiving the highest level of service and support possible.

Nick is originally from London, England, where he graduated with a computer science degree and soon after moved to the United States. Nick joined Rackspace Managed Hosting in 2002 as a Microsoft Windows Administrator and then moved into successive leadership roles. Nick holds an MCSA as well as other technical certifications.

Greg Rodriguez, Director of Sales

Greg is responsible for all aspects of sales for Hosted Microsoft Exchange, and Noteworthy. Greg helps guide strategic planning for the Mailtrust Sales organization, and focuses heavily on recruitment, training, and development of the best sales talent in the industry. In order to ensure that the Sales department is supporting the rest of the business, Greg works closely with Marketing, Support, and the rest of the Mailtrust divisions.

Living in San Antonio, Greg holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Greg has been with Rackspace since January of 2002, and has held positions in Outbound Sales, Inbound Sales, Sales Operations, and Sales Management. For the last year, Greg has focused on building the Hosted Microsoft Exchange business for Rackspace, and now brings his sales expertise to help drive the Mailtrust business. Prior to coming to Rackspace in 2002, Greg worked for Gateway, Inc.
